You can change your password any time from your account page in the web app. If you've forgotten it, you can reset it by email from the sign-in page.
Changing Your Password
You'll need your current password to do this.
In the web app at app.hellohotel.co, go to Account
Under Personal Information, find the Password row and click Edit
Enter your Current Password
Enter your New Password, then enter it again under Confirm New Password
Save the change
We'll email you a confirmation that your password was changed.
Password changes are made in the web app. You can't change your password from the iOS or Android app right now — sign in at app.hellohotel.co in a browser instead. Your new password works everywhere once it's changed.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
Go to app.hellohotel.co and click the forgot-password link on the sign-in page
Enter the email address you use for Hello Hotel
Open the reset email and click the link inside
Choose a new password
The reset link works for 1 hour. If it expires, request a new one the same way.
If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and make sure you entered the address your account uses. For security, the page shows the same confirmation whether or not an account exists for that address.
If You Sign In with Google
If you created your account with Google, you don't have a separate Hello Hotel password — Google handles your sign-in. To change that password, change it in your Google account.
Good to Know
Passwords must be at least 6 characters. Longer is better — a password manager makes a long, unique one easy.
Too many wrong tries pauses things. After 5 incorrect entries of your current password, you'll need to wait 15 minutes before trying again. If you can't remember it, reset it by email instead.
Reset requests are limited to 5 per hour per account.
Didn't change your password but got the confirmation email? Reset your password right away and contact us — use the chat widget in the app, in this help center, or on hellohotel.co, or email us at [email protected].
Add a second layer. A strong password plus two-factor authentication is the best protection for your account.
