Voicemail cards and missed inbound call cards now include an AI-generated summary at the top. Your team can scan the queue and prioritize callbacks without playing every recording or reading every transcript.
A typical summary captures:
Who is calling and why — the guest's name (if known) and the gist of the message
What they want — a request, a question, a complaint, a confirmation
Anything urgent — emergencies, time-sensitive issues, or asks that can't wait
Summaries are one to two sentences. The full transcript and audio are still available — the summary is meant to help you triage quickly, not replace the recording.
Voicemail list — the summary shows on each voicemail card
Inbound call cards — missed calls with an attached voicemail show a summary on the call card in the conversation thread
Voicemail detail panel — when you open a voicemail, the summary appears above the transcript and audio player
Read the summary first, then decide. The summary helps you prioritize which voicemails need a callback now versus later.
Don't skip the audio for sensitive calls. Summaries are accurate for routine messages, but for emotional, complex, or high-stakes voicemails, listen to the original — tone matters.
Summaries respect your call recording setting. If you don't have inbound call recording enabled, voicemail summaries still work because voicemails are recorded by default. Inbound call card summaries depend on the call having content the AI can analyze.
